SKIT Opens Theatre in Warner Town Hall

The stage is set, actors ready, and lights up at Warner Town Hall, where live performances once again provide entertainment for the greater Sunapee-Kearsarge  region community.

SKIT (Sunapee Kearsarge Intercommunity Theatre), partnering with Center for the Arts (CFA) will be performing “Turning Toward the Sun” written by Ceil Warren of New York in its premier production.  This romance-comedy takes place in a small New England village (not unlike our own) where life moves slowly, gossip travels fast, and it is simply impossible to keep deep, dark secrets hidden forever.  And Arthur harbored a deep, dark secret…for the past 40 years.  But, as fate would have it, his friends are a lot better at uncovering deep, dark secrets than he was at keeping them hidden.

The play will be performed at Warner Town Hall, 10 Main Street, Warner, NH on November 5 & 6 at 7:30 pm and November 7 at 2 pm and the following weekend November 12 & 13 at7:30 pm and November 14 at 2 pm.  Tickets can be purchased at Tatewell Gallery and Morgan Hill Book Store in New London, MainStreet Book Ends in Warner, or at the door.  Ticket prices are $18 general admission, $15 members of SKIT or CFA, and $10 for students.

Let’s open our darkened stages, smile, laugh, and enjoy live theater once again.
